Secure links can be established over the Internet by using a VPN ensure privacy. From experience we recommend using the Microsoft Windows 2000 and NT4 server operating systems as they offers a reliable, mature, well supported platforms that are compatible most proprietary applications. Windows 2000, the successor to NT4, incorporates Active Directory which streamlines the management of user and computers and comes as standard with Terminal Services for remote administration.
